Packaging Solutions company, renowned for its comprehensive suite of packaging solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of businesses worldwide, based in Weert, The Netherlands has a 12-24 month contract position available for a Field Service Technician/Engineer. The company develops and builds high-quality packaging machinces for the food industry. In the position of Field Service Engineer, you will work approximately 80% on-site at customers located all over the world. A Diploma/Trade qualification in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering, coupled with at least 6 years experience working as technician in fine machining, preferably within packaging/food production industries required. You are also required to have knowledge of PLC programming technology.
Remuneration: € 3 909 p.m.
Requirements:
- Younger than 28 years
- A completed education on EQF 4 or EQF 5 level in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics
- Knowledge of PLC programming technology
- A good command of both the Dutch and English and/or German language
- Ability to speak Afrikaans will be an advantage (Dutch Language and relevant training courses to be provided)
- A VCA diploma or willingness to obtain one
- Minimum 6 years experience in assembly, testing and commissioning machinery (maintenance)
- Experience within Food production/Packaging industry will be an advantage
Duties:
- Work approximately 80% on-site at our customers located all over the world
- Assembling, testing and commissioning our machines on site at customer sites
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customers all over the world
- Training of local operators.
