Fullstack Developer Intern – Fall 2024 – Coveo – Weert

Make an impactful contribution to the backbone of a state-of-the-art feature!

Our Data Platform team is responsible for the building and maintaining of the data models for reporting and machine learning purposes. They also support documentation and tooling to simplify the usage and self-serve of this data and these data models across Coveo.

The team is looking for an intern to create and own a project that will provide valuable insights around the Admin UI of the Coveo platform through data visualization.

Here’s what you will do:

Conduct research around existing components of the Admin UI and identify areas of potential for new components. 

Build out an interface that allows the user to flexibly query data from the backend based on filters you identify. 

Get feedback from your mentor and colleagues based on your learnings to elevate the project. 

Propose future areas of evolution that can be implemented to strengthen the interface.

Here is what will qualify you for the role: 

You are currently studying in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field in a Bachelors or Masters program. 

Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript.

Strong affinity with data and data processing, including basic SQL knowledge.

Knowledge of, or an interest in data visualization and design.

Strong sense of ownership and are proud of what you create.

You strive to grow, you aren’t afraid to ask questions to strengthen your understanding.

What would make you stand out: 

You have experience in SQL, DBT, Snowflake or working with other databases.

You have experience with front end frameworks such as d3 and React.

Passionate about user experience (UX) and user interfaces (UI).

You have great organizational and time management skills.
