As a Shift leader you are the first contact of the crushing part for the manager. Together with the other production employees you are responsible for the efficient and effective running of the entire internal process according to the guidelines for quantity, costs and timeliness. You ensure safety, order and hygiene in the production department. This means that you are also busy coordinating, monitoring and adjusting the work. This is a job that does not require a 9 to 5 mentality, but is suitable for people who are flexible and have a firm footing.

In short, you’re going to do this:

• Efficient production of liquid egg products;

• Correct and careful handling of machines and tools in accordance with work agreements and procedures;

• Supervising and adjusting the process in the crushing plant and the scales department as well as supply and removal;

• Technical execution of the work;

• Managing the team, which mainly consists of international employees;

• Participate in solving malfunctions;

• Keeping the machines, materials and the entire department clean. (crushing plant and shell room);

• Manage cleaning plan crushing plant;

• Daily keeping of the breaking register;

• Is present on the production floor before the start of the shift to start up the machines;

• At the end of the shift, transfers the knowledge to the next shift manager.

What do we expect from you?

• Minimum VMBO working and thinking level

• Knowledge of the machines to be operated;

• Knowledge of general hygiene and personal hygiene.

• Consults in a clear manner with the head of the business office. To achieve quality improvement as well as maximum return;

• Positive attitude towards work;

• Strong will to create successes;

• Working according to the Arbo guidelines, HACCP, GMP, environmental and house rules and efficiency;

• Able to work together in a team and manage a team;

• Willing to work in shifts;

• Working systematically;

• Flexible attitude and willing to work overtime in consultation;

• Problem solving ability

• Mastery of the English and Dutch language, Polish is an advantage.

The purpose of the function is an optimal output of liquid egg products in accordance with customer specifications and planning company office, according to the existing IFS/BRC guidelines.
