Responsibilities / Tasks
You are part of a software team and multi-disciplinary development team and are responsible for the development, implementation, testing and maintenance of the PLC and HMI software for the packaging machines
You maintain the existing machine software, make changes, do bugfixes and implement improvements and optimizations
You support the service department, service mechanics/engineers as well as customers via phone and/or online connection
Occasionally you do the commissioning and/or service at customer site (international)
You help configuring software for new machine orders as well as subsequent deliveries
You support in the creation and validation of Software Functional Descriptions
You report to the Manager Software & Controls
Your Profile / Qualifications
Bachelor in Control Systems (Mechatronics) or similar
Experience with PLC and HMI systems, preferably B&R
Experience with Structured Text coding language
Experience with C coding language
Team player
Analytical and accurate
Good communication skills
Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written
Pro-active and “eager to learn” attitude
